The SSC stands for the Staff Selection Commission, which is an organization of India Government that works to recruit skilled candidates for various posts in the several Ministries and Departments of the Government of India as well as Subordinate Offices. SSC conducts CGL (Combined Graduate Level) exam early for the eligible candidates to give an opportunity for working in the Staff Selection Commission department. SSC department headquarter is located in New Delhi, India. However, presently it has seven Regional offices in India, which are located at Mumbai, Allahabad, Kolkata, Chennai, Guwahati, and Bangalore.
